Educator's Story
Tinni's journey in pottery is paralleled by her extensive experience as an educator in arts, design, and ceramics spanning over a decade. Commencing her teaching career in 2010 with the International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT), she instructed undergraduates in Fashion and Textile Design. Alongside, she dedicated her time to NGOs, teaching pottery to budding talents. During her apprenticeship time at Leach Pottery, she contributed to their Education Team facilitating hand-building and Raku workshops for children. Since 2015, she has worked as the Ceramics specialist and Art & Design educator at Pathways School Noida, an esteemed International Baccalaureate institution.
Her dedication to her craft and passion for education extend beyond the classroom, as she actively seeks opportunities to engage with the community through pottery workshops, demonstrations, and collaborative projects, fostering creativity and appreciation for ceramics in diverse settings. In addition to her role at the school, she also shares her expertise by teaching pottery from her own studio "Amorphous Studios" and conducts Glaze Making workshops in collaboration with other studios, further enriching the learning experience for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
While honing her craft, she finds joy in nurturing a similar passion for ceramics among learners, emphasizing the importance of sharing knowledge and skills responsibly, with a focus on ethical usage of resources for the benefit of future generations.
